Store & Dealer Partnership in Vietnam
Mishio Kachi is developing a store and dealer structure designed to grow distribution while keeping economics and service quality visible.
Small-format stores as a proof point
Controlled store formats can be used to test product mix, customer demand and operating economics before broader replication. The objective is not to open stores for appearance alone; each format should produce measurable evidence.
- traffic and conversion;
- average order value;
- revenue per square metre;
- contribution margin;
- inventory turns;
- return and warranty cost;
- store cash payback.
Dealer partnerships
Dealer or partner-funded points can reduce the amount of company-funded fixture and location CAPEX. The company still needs to support products, replenishment, systems, brand assets, training and service standards.
What a healthy partner structure should prove
- The partner can earn an acceptable return.
- Products reorder rather than simply move into channel inventory.
- Pricing and promotion remain manageable.
- Receivables are controlled.
- Customer service is consistent with the brand promise.
- Inventory does not grow faster than sell-through.
Partner-funded does not mean capital-free
Growing a partner network can still increase inventory, receivables, support headcount and warranty obligations. Working-capital planning must therefore grow with the network.
